I'm a pretty big fan of the Xmen series, the 2nd movie was awesome but it looks as if they're blowing in in the 3rd, Bryan Singer isn't directing, Cyclops is being recast and now it looks as if Nightcrawler will be recast also or not even be in the movie. They should just forget about a 3rd movie.

Halley Berry is returning, don't really care. Everyone is returning except those 3 which blows i loved Nightcrawler's opening sequence in X2. Kelsey Grammer is going to be beast which will be awesome i just hope they leave nightcrawler out, i hate when they recast

I'd like to think Cyclops will be in this one with the same actor. I don't think the reason they didn't want Singer for this one isn't cause the movies are filming the same time, but because they don't want him directing both high level superhero movies... especially cause superman is for a different studio. But we'll see... i'll be kinda ticked if they recast cyclops.

from what i've heard about the new script, apparently Cyclops and Professor X dies. which is pretty fucking stupid. Nightcrawler is definately not coming back, but i just hope they mention on why he is not in the movie and do not completely ignore him.

But Alan Cumming will not be back as Nightcrawler, not sure if they're not gonna use the character or recast it. From what I've heard this movie is on the road to sucking. They've casted Kelsey Grammer as Beast and Maggie Grace of 'Lost' as Kitty Pryde. The only other new mutant they're casting is Angel. Brett Ratner is who they've chosen to direct, who directed the Rush Hour movies and After the Sunset. Not a very inspired choice.

Also, I've heard that Juggernaut will be more of a henchman to Magneto instead of being the huge villain that he should be. I also read a review of the early script and a lot of the stuff they do sounds pretty bad. For some reason Wolverine and Storm are having sex. Jean comes back and ends up killing Cyclops and Professor X because she can't control her powers. Mystique loses her powers, as the plot of this movie centers around a drug that de-mutantizes muntants. After cyclops and xavier die, storm becomes the leader of the group which sucks. And finally a love triangle emerges between Rogue, Iceman, and Kitty Pryde.

A lot of this script sounds very bad and doesn't fit in with the comics or the previous 2 movies, and I hope that they can fix it up before they film the movie. However, since the studio is rushing the movie to have it out by next memorial day, and the fact that Brett Ratner isn't a very good director, makes me feel that there's no way that this movie won't suck. I hope I'm wrong cause I loved the first 2.

What?! That's insanely retarded. How could you kill Professor X and Cyclops?! Uh, I had hope for this trilogy, but now my hope is lost. X-Men was my favorite cartoon/comic book of all time.

I found a X3 poster that looks pretty cool. And last time I checked... (which was a while ago so it might have changed) The roles for Professor X and Magneto might be played by different people. Both actors said if the plot was no good, then they didn't want to screw things up. But they did say it was all according to the plot.
