Here's an interesting (http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/news/article.adp?id=20050620092309990013 &ncid=NWS00010000000001) article about saddam.

He thought Clinton was ok? Thats kinda weird considering the fact that Clinton was bombing his country in the stone age during his reign.

Bush, Reagan, Clinton, Bush 2, Saddam = War Criminals.

"He knows I have nothing, no mass weapons. He knows he'll never find them.''

i find something strange about this. why does he say "he'll never find them" if they don't exist? its probably nothing, maybe his poor english, but it caught my eye.

where does it say that?

also, i find it funny how the world thinks we treat prisoners so badly when they are getting bags of cheetos and doritos on a regular basis.

In 1980 Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein was given the key to Detroit, making him an honorary citizen

that is an honorary title, it isn't official or legal.

uhm ya I'd go with that being his poor English, I mean, it's not his native language so I don't expect perfection. The way you read it I guess makes sense but when I read it I see him as kinda saying "I don't have them, how can he find something that never existed"...ya know what I mean? I think that's what he meant but whatever.

Again if you look at specific cases you can talk about whatever you want. Yes the world knows that for the majority prisoners are treated well but the few cases of abuse and violence should be noticed. Even though they know that we're ok for the most part, people judge the whole by the acts of a few. If we avoid these few cases of abuse (they shouldn't exist at all)...then the world wouldn't have this opinion.

Haha, how ironic is it that its Detroit, arguably the shittiest city in America... and much like a warzone in itself...

The fact that I'm scared for my life every time I go to Detroit makes it an awesome city just by default... any place that will illicit such a strong reaction from me has got to be doing something right.
