I actually really hate this question because no one ever tells you what you're supposed to base this decision on. Are we to base it on entertainment value? Rewatchability? Craftsmanship? An overall stew of everything?

I could watch Back to the Future (and the sequels) on constant repeat and never get bored with them. I've seriously seen all of them over 100 times, whenever I couldn't sleep or got bored as a kid, I'd watch them, over and over....and still do regularly. But they are far from the best movies ever made.....maybe I look far too much into these questions

My favorite movie is Kill Bill (1 and 2 combined). Everything about the two of them have always been considered perfect from the very first time I saw them.

Think we will ever get the Whole Bloody Affair that came out in Japan but not here in America?

doubtful, I wish we would get the deluxe edition rerelease or whatever of Grindhouse too, but for some reason they like Japan more :(

I'm holding off buying Kill Bill and Kill Bill II in hope for that (my brother has them), but I couldn't wait for Grindhouse.

Haha, yeah. I saw and posted those pictures about a year ago when we were having this same conversation. I'm not setting my hopes too high. :-(

I ended up just taking the plunge, and ended up getting the Grindhouse movies for 10 bucks each a ways back. It sucks not having the complete package with trailers and whatnot, but I guess I'll have to make due.

I can't think of my favorite scene from a movie.

But one that comes to mind is the ending of Se7en and the ending of Fight Club.

Yes, Fincher has the best endings. Speaking of Fincher endings, how was the ending of TCCOBB?

extremely powerful, though you've gotta look for it. Its got a huge metaphor in it and ends with a symbolic shot. Its extremely powerful but its also very subtle

I love Fincher so much. As someone who's got en more into movies only recently, he's one of the few directors who I can say I enjoy their work. I still need to work my way through the classics before saying the same thing for other guys.
