I kind of wish I made this thread when they were still together, but I never really cared for making threads back then. Nonetheless, if you're a fan of some music in vein of Pele (influenced by Don Caballero and maybe sounds a little like Maps and Atlases), I would suggest you check out this band. Chicago natives, the band disappeared from playing the local venues and bars. Their myspace was either deleted or changed to nothing. Thus, I can't direct you to any page full of music. I can only offer a youtube video of their song "Caramel" and possibly a last.fm site. So check them out if you enjoy some fun post-rock?

The last fm seems to have the whole "Lava Land" album, and if anyone would like a copy, I could probably up it somewhere or just e-mail it to you.

P.s. Rumor has it that the drummer is a total douche.

Sounds like Giraffes? Giraffes! only not as good.
Still good stuff. Just Giraffes? Giraffes! is the best math rock band I've come across.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about Giraffes? Giraffes! May give them a few more listens and such.

I really like this band, their EP is really solid, its too bad that they are gone. Anthropology Anthology is such a sweet song.

Ha. Where'd you hear the drummer was a douche? When or during the time piglet was still around he left and was in an amazing (much better than Piglet) band called This Is Cinema, who have an album out but I think you could only get it if you were at one of their shows. He left that band though, I forget why

This is why you don't post when you're stoned out of your mind.

It was put there purely for humor. I have never met the guy, thus could not make any judgment on him. But if you must know, I heard it from this kid I used to work with who met him. I'll have to disagree with you on the statement that This Is Cinema is much better than Piglet. I sure don't feel that way.

Bump, Pele and Piglet are probably the funnest bands to listen to, period!
