i've been checking out the memory on apple computers...fucking clutch....that's the only reason...i really need to store all the music i have

to be honest, mac's don't need much memory or processor speed as Windows do. I had an incredibly high-spec Windows box, and it took some time running some stuff together such as Firefox, MSN, AIM, Photoshop, Illustrator and iTunes.

I can run all these on my well compared to my Windows, low spec Mac with no problems at all, and more programs open too.

plus lots of viruses aren't prepped to run on apple software or processing...so it's like competing with one or two viruses...and apple's tech support is great, and the lease program is incredible.....they make tons of what they sell, yet offer great stuff in return.

Yes, Apple is awesome. I mean people who don't get into the community don't see that. With people going iPod sucks, Mac's suck blah blah blah. I've never had a problem.

Everyone in the Mac community, helps each other out, shares problems, hooks you up with stuff. It's just alot more friendlier.

Nope. Everything like that is fine. Some warez is a bit hard to find, but like once you got a source (cough me cough) you're sorted.

Media players. For music use iTunes. It does run a helluva lot better on a Mac. QuickTime for videos, and erm you can get a WindowsMedia plugin for QT too. If you don't want to you can use WMP for Mac.

actually....i enjoy quick time alot more than i do windows...it runs almost every file format, and is pretty flawless. when i get mine in a couple weeks, i'll definitely need you as a hook up :)

i love like holding down fast forward in quicktime. it's just amusing.

and the h.264 support in quicktime is amazing. full screen video's dvd quality. it's pwnage.
