Really looking forward to watching Ferrell and McBride pair up on screen together, and with the "alternate universe" angle thrown in, I'm sure we're in store for all sorts of ridiculousness.
Hotly anticipated? I dunno about that, but I'm a sucker for the old tv show. And I enjoy Will Farrell, Danny McBride, and Anna Friel.

And I was a bit off put by the thought of a PG rating ... then I remembered how hysterical Kicking & Screaming is (albeit ridiculous). Ferrell can do it without all the cursing. I'm pumped.

Nothing I've seen has pointed to any more than a hard PG-13.
I don't even think it will be a hard PG-13, probably soft.

Land of the Lost was a family program and this is a high budget comedy. There's no way Will Ferrell and Danny McBride will get away with any "Eastbound and Down" stuff. Couple shits maybe, nothing more.

I'm really not interested in seeing it and nothing from the trailers or commercials has convinced me otherwise.

I saw the trailer for this tonight and while I'll be seeing it because of Will Ferrell and Danny McBride I'm thinking it's going to be pretty bad, the effects looked God awful in the trailer and most of the humor will probably be kids humor but I won't rule it as crap until I go see it.

I fucking loved this movie. It was so retarded in an amazing way. If you don't like Ferrel's sense of humor don't even bother though. I honestly think most of the bad reviews of this film are because the critics didn't quite understand what they were going for (which was intentional insane/weirdness). Different strokes for different folks though.
