In between commericals and shows on MTV2, there was an ad for Say Anything (http://www.sayanythingmusic.com) and their upcoming tour.

that should say "In between showings of Hawthorne Heights's Ohio is For Lovers", they show that video like 20 times a day, it's horrible.

I don't know about "amazing lyrics," but it would certainly be interesting to see how Max pulled them off, and the musical twist he would put on those words.

Well maybe not amazing in the Walt Whitman way or something, but I can just imagine his vocal delivery making it sound like poetry.

I just don't get it. Say Anything is an enjoyable band, I'll admit. I occasionally partake in the listening of the music that they have made. You people just build them up so much though. They are good, but not genius. I'm sorry if I upset anyone for saying that but come on. The little write up on the cover of their cd is almost ridiculous. Comparing Max to Bob Dylan? This kid hasn't earned his stripes yet. I'm not saying that he won't become a legend in years to come, but to make this comparison so early is downright laughable. He isn't at a Bob Dylan level at all so far. Anyway, this band is good. I like them. But so much hype is sent towards them while there are quite a number of bands who deserve the same amount of hype. I'm just curious as to why everyone is hung up on this band while they ignore others.

I still think Baseball But Better and Menorah Mejorah are his best work. I hope Aids Demos never sees the light of day (which I know he wants it that way) cause that is not Say Anything. That is an experiment gone wrong. Say Anything is still my fav band and I would still give one of my nuts and one of my father's for a Brand New Say Anything tour. Did someone say roadie?
