The other day (Wed maybe?) they "updated" their website to show, "buy tickets at the door only $16." To advertise like that makes it sound like there's plenty of tickets left and being there on time would ensure you would get in. Obviously by that time there were hardly any tix left and people get left out in the cold.

Should be an awesome show though. Four Year Strong and Set Your Goals, plus Energy and A Loss For Words? Even though all these bands play the area often, it will be fun to see them all together.

yeah it blows. i'm going to TRY to get my way on SYG's guest list (my brother is friends with joe), but i'm sure FYS and the other MA bands are going to totally use up all their guest spots, so we'll see. I NEED to get into this show.

I was at the show tonight in Scranton, just an awesome time. Lackadaisical security and no barricade led to a shitload of stage dives. Anyway, I don't remember any of the order or things like that, but FYS played all the regular songs plus "Not to Toot My Own Horn but BEEP BEEP" which was cool. Oh, and apparently Every Avenue's van broke down and they were unable to make this show which made me really happy.

The crowds last night were crazy... I saw a couple people drop down into the crowd from the balcony, and I don't think there was ever a time when there weren't at least two or three people stage diving.

well the security at the venue i'm going to tends to be quite strict, but if there's enough people doing shit, they'll just get over it and let it go. haha. the crowd better be good. it has been the last few times i saw them. yeah, i live in lancaster so i end up at the chameleon a lot. the security has always been bitches, but things there have not been good recently. i feel like they try and ruin things when people are trying to have a good time there. but whatever, fys will be great either way.

You have no idea how sad I was when that place reopened and it had a barricade. I saw FYS with The Starting Line back in September 2007 and security was flipping shit on kids during FYS's set.

what? they've only had a barricade at one show that i've been to since it reopened, and they had it at almost every show i went to previously. but i was @ that show with the TSL, but i guess i missed the security flipping shit. haha. hopefully there's enough people doing shit that they'll finally give up and let it go. probably not, but i'm hoping soon.

Security was awful. They were kicking kids out for crowd surfing the first time they'd go up. Luckily Matt from Set Your Goals distracted security at the side of the stage long enough for me to get up on the stage and take a leap during "Heroes Get Remembered". Probably the only thing worse than the security was Every Avenue, which consistently made gay jokes and ripped on Blink 182. These guys seriously act (and sound) like All Time Low in every possible way, it's really pretty sad.

I talked to Matt from AL4W who was selling merch for Set Your Goals and Four Year Strong and he told me the Worcester show was the best his band has ever played, and that they sold out all of their merch at that show. Anyway, I was lucky enough to catch this tour in Scranton and Lancaster and it was fucking amazing. I can't wait for the Set Your Goals headlining tour when the album comes out.

never heard of it. but they didn't decide on anything yet, obviously, because the only place someone recommended was philly, but they have that rule about not being able to play twice anywhere in philly within a certain amount of time? i don't know, but i really don't blame any band for not wanting to come back here.

It's a small record store and concert venue all in one. Set Your Goals played there a few years ago as part of an all day show before they got big. No security or barricade, good times.
