I think this falls under the same pretense as "sequels always suck." There are exceptions, but... no... remakes are generally bad. And "Bewitched?" *shudder*

I saw it last night with my cousin who works at AMC theater. It sucks but not as bad as you would think. Its just very hard to accept Will Ferrell as Darren...you can accept nicole a lot easier as Samantha. The only thing is, the movie is only loosely based on the show. You don't accept Ferrell as Darren because he isn't playing Darren. The movie could have been good but don't expect Sleepless in Seattle. After SIS that director must have died, because this clearly is nothing like SIS.

However the trailers alone are worth going to....You should get to see a teaser for The Producers Musical with Matthew Broderick, Nathan Lane, Uma Thurman, and Will Ferrell which is gonna be funny as hell...the broadway show sure is.
