Nintendo DS Lite R4 cards

I just got a Nintendo DS lite for Christmas from my girlfriend and I want to get an R4 card for it. Does anyone know what exactly I have to get to be able to download and play games, videos, and songs on the DS? I've seen some bundles online and stuff but I dont really know what I need. Thanks.

I'm curious about this as well, I have a DS and think that I would play it a lot more if I had one of these little guys

I hardly play my DS anymore and have been thinking about selling it for awhile now. The R4DS is about the size of a regular DS game, but it has a slot for a microSD card (the R4Ds can support up to 8gigs I think), which is needed to store all the games, music, apps. You need a USB MicroSD reader, which your computer recognizes as a hard drive, you then click and drag the file you want to put on the microsd. I have the original case it came in that comes with directions that explains everything, I think, I have to double check.


To play games you have to find a ROM of that game, websites that have ROMs aren't hard to find, I could post a link if you're interested.
