Two Disc Special Edition!

How many of you guys watch all the special features when a DVD's got something like a trillion hours of bonus features?

I always watch every deleted/extended scene without and then with commentary (just to hear why it was taken out haha) and then over time I usually watch movies I like a lot with their commentary tracks on. Then all the other stuff, like making-of featurettes and such.. I save those for a rainy day if I plan to watch them at all.

it really depends on the movie. if it's a movie that i love, i'll watch everything no matter how shitty it is... if i think the movie's just alright, i may watch deleted scenes but nothing else... and if it sucked i won't waste my time.

I think it's ambiguous enough for General too. The b-sides thread is here, and that could probably be debated into the Music forum. It's not really a discussion of a movie or of a genre like most of the threads in there.. more like a poll of personal preferences overall.

(more simply put, it's my understanding that General is for people who aren't hardcore enough to venture into the special forums.. especially sports hahaah)

I pretty much always go for the Special/Limited edition multi-disc sets. That said, I usually just watch the making of- featurettes and other random features, haha. I've never listened to a commentary all the way through, although I've been meaning to.

I'm with you on that. I never watch/listened to the commentarys. I enjoy watching the movie without having people interrupt me.

I hardly ever watch these sort of things. Only on my very favourite films.

Really depends on the movie for me, that being said the Apatow special features are all fantastic. Love the line-o-rama's.

I tend to try and get the ones with two or three discs but only watch the films.
