I've posted a review of Excepter (http://www.excepter.com) - KA right here (http://www.absolutepunk.net/reviews/showproduct.php?product=791). This album is good, so go buy it.

sorry, i was just wondering. i asked about two weeks ago and someone said he was going to do it. bear vs. shark seem like a band that was popular enough on this board that people would like to read a review by them. I could do one on my own, but I like to read what other people have to say. It's fun to read different interpretations of albums you like.

i'd try and talk to ryan about how this record isn't that great, but pitchfork's balls are so deep in his throat that i doubt that he'd be able to garble some half-cocked argument.

why not review an animal collective record while you're at it? how about clap your hands say yeah!?

seriously, lay it on us, oh lord of all that is indie. we'll believe every sacchrine analogy you sputter!

this record is crap. it's like calling basinski's disintegration loops a 9.1 record. you're the musical equivalent of comic book guy.

Have you even listened to your own stuff dude? And you call this album bad? Don't even bother. And there are plenty of better discussions of this album out there besides Pitchfork's review, but I don't think I've seen one that was negative. There was one that went into some discussion about the philosophy behind what it stands for and certain evolutions within music, but it was less a review than a tackling of the ideas behind the music. But I'm sure you know all that stuff anyways, so why bother right? I'm sure that Northwestern education makes you so cocky, but it hasn't taught you much about communication has it?

i'm sorry, did you have a point? or were you trying to simply bore me into submission with that aimless ramble

dude...lay offf....ryan's the only reviewer whose reviews i actually read. at least he's honest with his scores and doesn't give everything at least an 8. O yea...and his point...his point is that you have a lot of negative scene points for a reason.
