I would like to know this as well, seeing that show Monday, but if it's anything like their last couple of tours, the set lists will be different for mostly every show

i was going to see this yesterday & today, but i skipped out on it due to a lack of money. but i'm not too disappointed because bayside apparently didn't play anything different than on their last tour that i saw three times. so i'm not as sad about skipping it as i would've been if they played more off of sirens or something.

Yeah, I totes wish they'd played more off their worst album. That'd be fantastic.

It's funny how you think the most ambitious, diverse, and musically complex album was the band's worst . Walking Wounded was incredible. Sirens was their most repetitive release. I liked it, but it was NOTHING compared to s/t, which wasn't as good as Walking Wounded, which was only a bit better than Shudder.
Your opinion about Bayside officially doesn't matter.
Walking Wounded was easily the band's best album. Especially from a technical standpoint.
Bayside has a habit of playing only a few new songs on their tours supporting the new CD and really sticking to the back catalogs.. I guess they empathize/know how awesome it is singing along to your favorite songs and not trudging through newer songs you haven't loved/learned yet. I saw them in Poughkeepsie following the release of Walking and they played four or five tracks from Sirens.
The show tonight in Vineland was very similar to what was already posted. My standard fare (review, pics, setlist, etc) will be posted on intunemusiconline.com as soon as I finish my Kevin Devine show review. Valencia didn't cover Bruce tonight, but strangely I kept thinking I wish they would--I don't know why, I hadn't seen that post.

on their last tour they had started out the tour playing quite a few new songs [boy, ghost, no one understands, call to arms, demons, rochambo, and moceanu], but by the shows i saw them play, they had dropped quite a few of them. i was happy with the ones they played though. i think they're some of the most solid off of the album, but wish they'd promote it more. i don't think it's a bad idea. all of the people around me & i all knew all the words to the new songs they played, so it didn't seem like people hadn't learned new songs yet.

i don't know what tttyg is. anyway, i don't see how that even makes sense, considering lss is one of my least favorite of their releases and shudder has become one of my favorites.

Take This To Your Grave. Fall Out Boy's second full length. Great album.

They did play a lot of Sirens stuff in DE. I wanted A Synonym for Acquiesce a lot, but didn't get it. I was also kinda hoping to hear their cover of Beautiful Girls that will be on Punk Goes Pop 2...

Bruce cover wasn't that special. I would've preferred a song off of Possibility to it.

TTTYG = Take This To Your Grave, the album FOB fans tend to ejaculate again and again whenever FOB comes up here. It's their second full-length, and though phenomenal, it's not coming out again and they can't get over it.
I was drawing a parallel.

Evening Out With Your Girlfriend is sorta a full length. Too long to be an EP.
Yeah. Fixed.

sorry, not much of a fob fan, but i see now. i thought that i would never like anything new that bayside released just because i love the old stuff so much, but shudder was able to prove myself wrong. nothing you're saying is changing my opinion on anything though, so this is going nowhere. from day one until now, i've only ever enjoyed thankfully, they're not horses, and landing feet first. let me guess, those are the worst on the album? must be, considering all opinion i have on bayside is "wrong".

No. See, every song on TWW is great, so you can't go wrong with it.

Valencia tore it up. It was my first time seeing them, and I was floored with just how good they were. What an energetic group of guys! Nice, too.

Same. I don't know if their tour with Houston Calls is coming to that area, but, being from Philly, I always have a chance to see them because they play here often.

out of curiosity, how was valencia's bruce cover? did they do it slow/quiet like the original, or did they mess with it a bit?

I'd like to know also.
Dustin Kensrue often covers songs from that album and does them very well..

I saw Valencia do the Bruce cover on 12/26 in DE and I thought it was good. It started out a little slow like the original but by the end it was faster/louder. I was impressed but I don't think many other kids knew it was a Bruce song.

Pretty sure Valencia didn't do a Bruce cover in NJ.
