I will admit that I wasn't expecting much out of these guys when I went to watch them live, being as that I was disappointed by their new album. But much to my surprise they were very good live in my opinion, and I now have a new respect for the album. Has anyone else had an experience like that with HIPV or any other bands?

blink. Their new album wasn't that great, but live they reminded me of their good songs.

I saw them at Warped Tour last year, they are very good live. Im not very much into them but still I was satisfied with what I saw.

yeah, i definitely had that happen with hipv. i didn't even like them at all when i went to see them. i was going to see another band and i decided to stay for them just because i had nothing better to do, haha. but yeah, i was really impressed, they're good live. i'm still not totally into all their recorded stuff but i like them way more than i did before i saw them.

I didn't really dig them that much until after I saw them on the Coheed tour.

I went back home and popped in the recent record and now I like the whole thing.

their new album was one of their best in my opinion.

This return reminds me of Michael Jordan's latest return to the NBA to the Wizards. In other words very weak and unnecessary.

But at least Mike had a legacy to tarnish.
