Fan Reports In: "Yesterday, at Warped Tour in Dallas, Hidden In Plain View (www.hiddeninplainview.com)'s vocalist was absent. Rob handled almost all of the singing but Ben from Armor For Sleep came and sang during "Top 5 Addictions" and the chick in Boys Night Out came and sang "Bleed For You" with the band. They didnt mention why the singer wasnt there, in fact, they barely mentioned it. I personally thought Rob did an awesome job considering the circumstances and I definitely wasn't let down."

Top 5 Addictions is definitely a song that should be heard live. Hopefully the Joe situation is fine.

There's an acoustic version (it's an old demo) of Rob doing "Halcyon Daze" floating around. If you can find it, it's gorgeous.
I like this band a lot.

yea, i was there and there was definetly a chick playing keyboards in boys night out, which surprised the hell out of me.
and the only thing that hidden in plain view said was "if you didn't notice, we are missing a singer" or something to that effect. they sounded just as good as they usually do, and i was quite impressed

when they were in NYC last, joe was late cuz gay new york cops made them move their van from the front of the venue. but the show was still great.
You're missing a really good band. I loved them at Warped in St. Louis.
As did I. They put on a good show . I met them back in April when the opened up for allister and less than jake. They're really nice guys

There has been one for quite sometime, she's sings a bit on the new album but she sticks with the keys.. at parts the new album sounds like a beefed up straylight run.. the make yourself sick boys night out are long gone.. but from what I read they kinda wanted to too.

I'm not a fan of these bands, but, how can you not be let down if the SINGER isn't there?

hipv has two main singers-- joe is considered the vocalist, but rob sings pretty much the same amount as joe does. so its not that big of a deal to continue on with the show.
aaaaand, hipv doesn't make it out to texas often, so i'm sure they wanted to be able to give their texas fans a show.

Anyways, that's my favorite song. (the acoustic version. Which was actually called 2AM & The Tequila Chaser ... or something to that effect)

They did mention it, they just didn't feel it was necessary for them to repeat it after every song. Absolutepunk just had to try to create drama somehow once again

its good, they compliment each other very well (garden statement) but i personally don't think Rob's voice is powerful enough, nor is his stage presence powerful enough to carry the band by himself. he just lacks the strength of a frontman imho

They didn't read wrong, the person who I was referring to straight out said Joe was the one getting married not a friend, so that person who posted a few pages ago got their information wrong. That's why what I thought they said was funny....
