this may seem like a dumb thread idea but im kind of curious as to what kind of list we can come up with
me and a few different friends of mine have some funny or ongoing conversations about some classic 90s flicks and stuff, some real great american movies, just curious as to what you guys think some would be
off the top of my head:
home alone (buzz your girlfriend....woof!)
sandlot
rookie of the year
forrest gump
independance day
thoughts?
stupidtyonparad

might have to put little giants on that list

The word "classic" shouldn't be associated with the 90s for a few decades.

so i was going to respond to that by saying "your killing me smalls" out of habit
but then i realized how well it would fit with this and i figured itd be lame as hell if thats all i wrote haha

Actually it is. Puzo had a hand in writing it, and it follows perfectly the tragic story of the Corleone family. The last scene with Michael dying by himself, alone, is incredible. You should read the book, and then watch all 3.

I hate this movie. It's about a spoiled brat who sits on the couch with a sour puss on his face cause he didn't get his stupid toy gun.

Hahaha. No wonder it captures the hearts of so many Americans.
If I have to watch it again, I will scream. Why can't they play a good Christmas movie for twenty four hours straight? Like, the yule log, or ...Christmas Vacation.

Read some Puzzo. Get your head right.
I have read the first book. I still think the premise of the third is dumb, and totally negates Michael Corelone's character. Plus, Sofia Coppola was horrible.
I really enjoyed Memento when I saw it. Also I think the Lion King series is great.
Memento is a good film. There is a short story written by the brother of the director (I think the short story is what the movie is based off of, at least the idea) called Memento Mori.
