I recommend being cool and reading my reviews on the following albums which are excellent and you should check out:
Electrelane (http://www.electrelane.com) - Axes (http://www.absolutepunk.net/reviews/showproduct.php?product=800)
Hair Police - Constantly Terrified (http://www.absolutepunk.net/reviews/showproduct.php?product=797)
Also listen to Yankee Hotel Foxtrot by Wilco if you haven't; and if you have, pull it out today and listen again.
The Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! self-titled is indeed good, so check it.
If you're in the mood for some folk-ish stuff, you can check out Goon's A River Ain't Too Much to Love
There certainly isn't enough love for The Magnetic Fields here, so get on that.
Oh, and expect a review for Wolf Parade's self-titled EP soon. It's good, and you should be very excited about the full length later this year.
And expect a review for the new Bear vs. Shark.
I also recommend going out, finding some nice natrual location and going for a run, as I'm about to do.

Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is probably in my ten favorite albums of all time, and it's my favorite summer album. It just gives off a summer vibe to me.
i live in fucking humid Florida. running is forbidden.

The Bear Vs. Shark album is good, but as stated elsewhere, the first two tracks blow away the rest of the album. 6.9/10
I've heard good things about Clap Your Hands Say Yeah from at least 3 places now (here, Pitchfork, review submission)...can anyone make comparisons / descriptions?

Wilco and Clap Your Hands Say Yea both extremely awesome bands........Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is definately in my top 3 favorite cds of all time.....every song is incredible, i could go on forever about it........Ryan didnt you say you hated Muse because bellamy sounded like Thom Yorke......just my opinion but Outsworth(???) sounds a hell of alot like a really shaky Thom Yorke but still awesome none the less just because the music is nothing like radiohead at all.....great pop record. I recommend "Details of the War" and "The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth"....also "In This Home on Ice"......
Everyone should listen to Tilly and the Wall too

jesus, etc. is prolly one of my all time favorite songs, that whole album is so good. I just started to get into wilco's earlier stuff (summerteeth) but nothing compares to YHF, ghost is born is awsome as well.

No, no, I like Muse quite a bit, but I still think he sounds like Yorke. When Showbiz first came out, that's all anyone thought...He obviously doesn't sound like what Yorke does now, but Bends-era, I think so. I still like Muse though...I just like Radiohead more.

Wilco is probably one of the best & the best American band of our time. I'm surprised that they arn't recognized even more than they already are, Jeff Tweedy is a genius. Don't forget "Being There" (espesialy Disc 2), another great Summer Wilco album, though it's more countryish than Yankee Hotel and Ghost, it is still brilliant.

Yeah, I really enjoy all their work.

Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah sound like early Talking Heads.
Which, in case you were wondering, is a great thing.
