Artist Profiles Being Built

I see some people have found our new "artist profiles" (example: www.absolutepunk.net/cartel (http://www.absolutepunk.net/cartel)) that I have been working on for the past few nights. The section is still in its infancy and when it goes past its beta stage I will let everyone know and add some of its new features to the main page here. Let me know if you find any bugs .. and feel free to add your band to the database.

Is Yellowcard, Cartel, Motion City Soundtrack linked bands?
Yes, except it only works if there is no punctuation on either side of the name, in your example above the (comma) throws it off. That feature is still in a beta stage as well, but we can (if we want) add the , to the band name as well for linkage.. yellowcard with no comma should work.

So far the features are not tied together .. I decided not to fuck with the server too much and put too big of a load on it .. haha, I will be sending a staff email out later with how to add "jumplinks" into the system. I'll explain it all shortly to you...

So cartel has been getting some heavy promo around here lately ...... maybe i should check them out .... Due to time constraints i usually wait to check out a new band until someone gives me a personal recommendation (via phone, AIM, email, or face to face). But i have yet to get one of those .... What do you guys think? check em out anyways?
