looking for criticism

i uploaded a vid on youtube and i need some criticism. im going to upload new vids soon, so its just the one that i have now. its a cover for buried a lie - senses fail. im just learning guitar and i do a ton of vocal stuff at my highschool. this isn't my greatest vocal achievement...but contact me and i'll probably have more vids up eventually.

Guitar is eh, but that's a given and you'll only get better. It's hard to judge vocally but to me, seems like you need to upload a song that would show how you sing when you're going all out. Pitch seems to be fine. Seems like there may be no head voice? but like I said... upload something that's more vocally friendly and it might help with an opinion/suggestions.

I'd be interested in hearing you sing some Paramore songs like you mentioned in this video, particularly ones where Hayley flexes her vocal capabilities. But based on this video alone, your voice isn't bad at all. From a guitar playing perspective, try to loosen up a bit and keep practicing. It's obvious you're new to the instrument, but it takes most people months and months to even attempt to play a song properly, so keep at it and you'll do fine.
