shouldnt they have tried to get some bands from a while ago instead of just recent ones? im not knocking 'em, but throw in like nofx or bad religion or someone its been 20 years.

i agree.. but they gotta go with whats popular - kids eat that SOTY pop metal stuff up nowadays.

at least Coheed got an hour too.

Oh awesome, a bunch of bands that have nothing to do with the magazine's original influences... :(

i totally agree, get in some of the older bands but i'm sure the ones they have playing at the concert are gonna be good it would be better toreflected the last 20 years if they had some bands who having been playing for most of the last 20 years play

TREOS played in front of 5 kids at Warped Tour San Antonio, me being one of them. But by their end of their set, they had over 100 listeners. Hoorah.

in an ideal world, nobody would attend this show.

because they would all be at the final GUK show in Kansas City.

have you seen story of the year live though? sure they're not reinventing the wheel with their music or anything, but they're definitely one of the most visually stunning bands i've seen. i'm not talking about pyro or lights or anything, but the dudes are all acrobats! seriously though, they're really good live, even if you claim "they suck."

and it's awesome i live in cleveland.

why dont you guys stop bitching? you'd go if you could. alternative press isnt worried about their past influences from the last 20 years, their worried about making that buck and i dont blame them.

I'd drive the 7 or 8 hours for this show. JUST to see TREOS play.

AMAZING.

By the way, tickets are only $25 and it's all general admission.

Oh, and another by the way - Scene Pavilion is pretty damn small. This is also one hell of a chance to see new Coheed stuff.

i think its pretty funny that soty is playing an alt press event when they were saying how shitty they were on their website not too far back.

Anyone in the Northen Ohio-Michigan area, don't forget Coheed and Cambria are playing for free in Detroit tomorrow night:

Straylight Run will also be there, and G-Love with Special Sauce on Friday, all for free...

Paris, Texas is FANTASTIC live. Their records are good, but they completely outdo themselves in a live setting. That band should be much bigger than they are.
