What do you think?

I'm saying yes...but time will only tell.

If Forever The Sickest Kid told everyone that my band would be touring with them ever, I wouldn't want to reunite either.

I would love for them to, but I don't think it'll ever happen.

Agreed.

don't get me wrong, i love blink. but do we really want them getting back together? i mean, they are one of the only bands in recent years to go out on top, seems like there would be know where to go but down. or is that just me?

I feel the same way. A new album would most likely flop but a renunion tour would be tight. A lot of time when popular bands renuite its for a tour which usually rakes in a lot of money. I could be wrong I read the recent Van Halen tour with David Lee Roth was one of the highest grossing tours ever.

Nope. I would love it but I don't think they will

i do not think they will, but if they could make another album as good as the self-titled effort i would love to see them back together.

i hope, more so for my younger brother who always wanted to see em live. i was fortunate enough to finally see them back in 02, and i'd love to see them again. tom get your act together.

as far as new material, it really depends, while i was never against their maturing, lyrically that is, stylistically i'd like to hear some brighter and faster music again. I mean nobody did it quite like them, they took big elements from the decendents and such, but took it to a whole other level, especially with the production on Enema, which i dont think anyone can really argue that it wasnt groundbreaking, and displayed many of the possibilites for punk as far as recording goes, even when the music is at a somewhat conventional level.

most genius thing ive heard all day
I would love for that to happen but i doubt it will and what sucks is crappy bands like creed are reuniteing and ill probaly never see awesome bands reunite

carnotaurhunter

I think that there's a better chance of them coming together again at some point in their lives than never reuniting at all, but who's to say whether that's sooner or much later?

The self-titled was arguably their worst effort.

jay_klinkhammer

or arguably their best, again.

dpetty21
01/01/09, 01:31 PM
I think eventually they will but it might only be for a tour and it might not be for another 5-10 years. One more album would be fantastic though. I personally really liked the self titled album.

personally i enjoyed it the most. i know that many people would disagree, but i liked how their songwriting matured, and it sounded the most like a complete album from them.

na ive always felt that too, id be slightly scared they would ruin the aura theyve gotten since going out on high, to though nothing would make me happier getting to see them again

i picked no. though i would love to go to the reunion show if they ever did. i think that would be awesome the the nostalgic feeling of all those classic songs!

VIVALAMATT

This year, no.

Eventually, yes.

Angels & Airwaves won't be relevant forever. (plus 44 isn't relevant now..lol)

bluecrunchy
01/02/09, 08:05 PM
Yes. Eventually they'll decide they could use some more money.

IceAge/HeatWave

my logic is that eventually ava and+44 will fail, and they'll get money hungry. This of course is years down the road though.

i think they will eventually if but for a short tour or something. Nothing permanent. Close poll

mongo_man101

Nope. If they did it'd be a shame anyway. The chances of them producing anything good now is limited. Don't want a tarnished legacy.

kevinrocks409

eventually they will

jackSHIT
01/05/09, 02:46 PM
if they did get back together, they should just tour with the old stuff.

a new album would suck, as both mark and tom have moved on in their writing styles compared to the days of blink.

i really hope blink do get back together, but i don't know if it'll be the same..maybe if tom cuts his hair, ditches the tight clothing and doesn't sing and play guitar exactly the same on evey single song like he did on the two AVA albums, they'd be okay. but i'm not a tom-hater. or anti-mark. i'm just saying tom's changed a lot since blink..and he kept saying it was because he wanted to be mature, but the last blink record they released was the most mature they'd ever been! i dunno. tom delonge has more mood swings than a 16 year old girl.

i prefer the clothes, the mans pushing 40! haha he cant wear 3 quarter shorts and a Hurley top forever ;)

and AVA arent all that bad, tell me with a straight face that the adventure isnt awesome

but still.. my jury is still out on the reuinion, I'd bum it so hard, but is it possible!?!

ah fair enough but personally i find the punk clothes rad. but tom might look a bit weird back in blink while mark and travis wear hurleys x] but then again, even they rarely wear the clothes they used to...

and yeah, to be honest, angels and airwaves are a good band, but..i mean, from having the maturity of a sixteen year old to a philosopher? i'm not buying it. but yeah, i do like their songs, and have developed a recent obsession with the song "A Little's Enough" (:

well, five or six years ago blink fans would tell you that blink breaking up is impossible, but look where they are now? anyway, it's good they're talking at least.

5 years ago i started to see it coming from the gigs i went to see them play that year, but definitely, the years before that, I'd have never guessed it. they were always far too close

and dont get me wrong, i love those clothes aswell, i wear them haha but i cant see myself wearing them when im 40, unless im still cool :P

wow, you should have warned us all! even though there wasn't really any possible way to warn all of us :P my brother showed me a clip of them playing live on a talk show in late 2004/early 2005 and the tension between the three was palpable.

XD, but then again, loose clothes will be much more comfortable at 40 then tight ones. XD i wear some atticus and hurley but theyre so damn hard to find in australia :l

i know, i left the last gig i saw them play (a couple of months before they split) and was like, that just didnt feel right there, something was missing. then BAM! 2 months later, indefinite hiatus, i was like Hmmmm, then the split of course and then lots of sadness on my behalf haha

can you not order in from loserkids.com?

damn, a blinker's gut instinct is never off :P i never got to see 'em play :( i was too young to go to BDO (Big Day Out..kinda a big music festival that goes all around Australia. they played in 2000 i believe). i guess thats another reason i'm so desperate for a reunion, haha.

ahh that be a good idea by you good sir :)

but i'm afraid it shall have to wait 'til morning. it's 12:32A.M. here and i'm dead tired, and i have a headcold too :(
