thats dude was a douche...i wonder if he was trying to imply that it was a totally different song then it got destroyed and then became the swinglife away we know and love today

Aren't there two versions of swing life away? I know I have two versions, the only difference is that the one on Siren Song of the Counter Culture has a little solo-ish part to it.

This video ROCKED because I think the guitarist dude, maybe it was the bassist? was wearing the Bane zip-up. More promotion for hardcore is always good. The video followed the song pretty well but the guy who stepped on the tape, what a bastard. But hey, what can you expect from the bros?

The song itself is well-written. I've liked Rise Against for awhile but at concerts now, they're pretty much like an MTV band with a jock pit. Not fun.

I like the video, it's calm and....appealing. I wish my life was simple and enjoyable like that. Plus I <3 this song.

That could be possible. I never thought of that. Just because he accidentally bumped shoulders he had to go and do that. But anyways... your right. On the first tape it just said swing...
