Surprised there isn't a thread for them yet

Love every one of their albums so far but I'd probably have to say Eat, Sleep, Repeat is still my favorite followed closely by Beneath Medicine Tree. Every single one of their albums have been great so far though

Still think Beneath Medicine Tree is the best... but all of them are in constant rotation for me.

A lot of bands skip Oregon, or even the areas surrounding it, and it always sucks. The live albums intrigue me, but I haven't been to a show in a while and I'm itching to go to one. The next show I'm probably going to go to is Warped, and that's not until the middle of August.

Haha it must suck to have so many bands skip over your town. That's one of the great things about NY. Rarely any bands skip out on NYC except for a few

Even if bands don't skip over Oregon, they always come to Portland which is still about three hours away, so usually the gas money is more than the ticket, and it's even more expensive if I stay at a hotel for the night instead of driving back right after the show. My location kind of sucks.

Haha, really? I've only been to the Oregon coast once. Pendleton is a really sucky town, but I guess it's not as bad as the smaller ones surrounding it, though being known for having one of the largest rodeos in the nation is not something I'm proud of.

P.S. Copeland Rulez

Not the largest rodeo, but one of the largest in the country. I'm sorry to say that you missed it, as it's only in September. It is a tourist attraction, haha. Over 60,000 people come which is a lot for a town of 16,000, and we get the week off of school. Sadly, our town slogan is "Let'er buck." All of these big country artists come down and play and drunken cowboys fill the streets.

The most exciting thing to happen to this town was when Britney Spears came to the high school graduation because Keven Federline's brother went to my school.

And Copeland does rule.

I just came back from the Toronto show,
It was amazing, the sound was perfect and the guitars sounded way harder live then in the studio.
There were such nice guys, they came down to the main level to talk and take pictures with everyone.

Here's the setlist of what I could remember.

From You are my sunshine,
Chin up
Grey man
To be happy now
The day I lost my voice
On the safest ledge

From In Motion,
No one really wins
Pin your wings
Sleep
You have my attention

From Eat sleep repeat,
Eat sleep repeat
Control freak
Careful now

From Beneath medicine tree,
When paula speaks
Testing the strong ones

So apparently there is a very remote chance of there being a new Copeland album according to Steve Henderson. This really sucks. Every one of their albums are truly fucking awesome. Still have a hard deciding which one is my favorite. Really hope they stick it out for at least one more album.

I think Copeland also recorded an AP exclusive backstage sessions tonight along with Anchor And Braille so look out for that. That's definitely going to be awesome. Aaron is an amazing singer

I would have to agree with you. Copeland are one of those unique bands that you love for not being like everyone else and because their music is 100 percent real. Tis would be a shame if they are done but something tells me that its only the beginning because unlike many bands out there, Copeland's music [to me] is only getting better with each album.

Not big on Coffee at all. It's good but not even close to being one of my favorites

1.) When Finally Set Free
2.) She Changes Your Mind
3.) Careful Now
4.) California
5.) The Day I Lost My Voice

Too many great songs
I wasn't big on it either until I saw it on the farewell tour. Ever since then, I absolutely love it.

Agreed like a motherfucker to both of these. Shows that they were at least a little underrated around AP. I mean, was anyone (else) talking about these guys when they didn't have an album to promote?

3 - No One Really Wins (Acoustic)
4 - On The Safest Ledge

I've realized Copeland is a pretty unique band for me in that I truly can't choose a favorite among their four albums. They're all so perfect in different ways.

Aaron Marsh lives really close to me and since they aren't playing anymore, a lot of people I know have been snooping to see if they run into him. I think that's pretty creepy but they run into him eventually at a Starbucks or something.

Edit: My favorite album by them is probably In Motion.

I've seen Aaron play at two local shows this year in Lakeland. I've really only talked to him once though.

-Apparently doesn't like playing shows very often
-The one thing hates most about touring is missing his family and friends and Lakeland
-He's booked well into next year production wise
-The Lulls in Traffic is an on again off again thing, He hopes to have an album out in about a year
-The Vanguard Room is churning out a lot of music lately (Valise, Joshua Michael Robinson, Holly Ann, ect)

I have a couple videos of Aaron on keys at a local coffee shop (Theres more on my youtube channel):

Their store lies. It will let you add both of them in your cart, but if you try to checkout it, it will say they are out of stock for both of the colors. I tried to buy either of them a couple days ago and was :-(

Has anyone purchased from either of these links? I would love this vinyl, even if it isn't the first pressing.

I have zero Copeland albums on vinyl right now. Also hoping to get Beneath Medicine Tree and You Are My Sunshine (as I believe those are the only three pressed to vinyl). Does anyone know of a good place to find those besides eBay?

I saw Aaron Marsh come into Starbucks the other day. He got a coffee. I didn't approach him to talk to him though.

A couple of months back I did talk to him at a record store. He claims the vinyl represses don't make much money and that due to their old record label going bankrupt, Copeland makes no money off their back catalog.

I've played shows with that Joshua Michael Robinson guy he's producing. Anyways, it would be so easy for Aaron to book a solo show for himself in Lakeland. Bums me out he just won't do it. However, from what I hear around Lakeland, his studio looks very state of the art.
