First off... Dudey.... if you didn't know Disarm was a cover.. its ok I guess. But christ that makes me feel old. Also thanks to anyone who comes by mammoth and shows us little guys some love to.

PS Their disarm cover is really good but that HRC is amazing. Also if you want to hear Jack & Ginger the new From Autumn to Ashes song w/out having to deal with Purevolume we;ve got that up there too.

Wow, Emanuel really disappointed me. What's the point of doing a cover song if you try to sound exactly like the original?

Perhaps to show "the next generation" a song they`ve never heard ... or perhaps just for the sake of playing the song because they like it and Smashing Pumpkins aren`t around anymore ...

I created this account on this forum simply to reply to this thread. I love TSP and I guess I am in the NexGeneration. I'm 14 years old. When I heard Emanuel covered Disarm, I was thrilled, but then it was a big let down to hear it. The original in my opinion is a lot better than the cover, but it was still a decent cover.

I felt like I should put my 2 cents in. I don't know why.

And yes, Billy Corgan is trying to re-establish The Smashing Pumpkins, which makes me EXTREMELY happy. I ran around my neighborhood shouting it for 3 hours. People threw stuff at me. T.T;

I hope things go over smoothly with that, it would be nice to listen to some new stuff by The Smashing Pumpkins.
