the title of it is "a rough day of sitting down"
a friend of mine is a brother to North Carolina
who is my arch enemy
because no matter how much i fight
he's holding them just out of reach
and all the yelling and stomping
just won't quiet down
no radio waves or signals
will reach her mountain town
i'm stuck here laughing until i cry
at the blurs in time
that i'm missing out on
and that i am losing my place in line
a fog always covers this state
when i raise the words on the page
and that tongue will be adventurous
it will find it's most enjoyed stage
but since the drive to the moon
is just to far to visit
i'll write and apologize and pray
that it will pay off to be persistant
another flick that creates another flame
and my eyes and lungs are burning
douse me in sarcasm
to begin the healing
because i have a long vacation
waiting for me under the glow
absorb all of this sensation
because your legs move me miles now
