you are completely bias to the fact that they have the best overall infield... even though know are hitting spectatular... and you picked Victor Martinez... he's so last year =P can we say .242 batting avg. and iggy will go down again...

No I just like Texas's infield. Scott Rolen is my favorite 3B, Miguel Tejada is my favorite SS, I'm liking Tadahito Iguchi for 2B, and I'd take a Pujols at first. Victor Martinez who cares if he's so last year, him and Travis Hafner recently caught fire. Trust me Victor will finish with a strong year. who the hell is Iggy?

Even though Rivera is in the twilight of his career, it has been an outstanding one, but he has pitched in the biggest games there are to offer, and that kind of experience is key)

Chad Cordero's not a rookie, he's a sophomore. rookie last year. Ichiro would play Center over Vlad because Ichiro's a whole lot faster and Vlad has a stronger arm. Vlad would play right. But you're the manager, it's your final decision.

Cordero isnt even going to last. He is pitching way to much this early in the season.

Even if you think that, how can you not put him somewhere? He's arguably the best player in baseball along with Albert Pujols
So is this picking an ALL MLB team from this years stats, or from active players careers?

Doesn't matter if he will buckle in the playoffs because they aren't making it.

I don't. Guess why. He has bad wheels bro bro. How do you expect him to play the outfield position. maybe my first baseman or DH. outside of that...no thanks
C - Victor Martinez (he's really been coming around in the las month)
1B - Albert Pujols ( Derrek Lee has been great but I can trust Pujols, and I'm pretty sure he's never been on the DL)
2B - Alfonso Soriano
3B - A-Rod
SS - Miguel Tejada
LF - Manny Ramirez
CF - Andruw Jones
RF- Vladimir Guerrero

with or without roids, he is still a five tool player... glove, speed, bat, power, and that other tool that makes you a five tool one.

This is my team. If I could build a team without contracts, it would look like this. And no, Bonds will not be on here because I'm taking this from a standpoint of building a team to compete year in year out, not just best one year team.
C-Veritek(Leads a good staff, good with the stick. Probably the best all around catcher)
1b-Derek Lee(Disregard his season this year, I would still have him here, I've been a big supporter of this guy for 3 years now. I love having great defense at first, it solidifies an infield. And he's got pretty good career avgs at the plate. I love this guy, and I'm glad he's on a tear)
2b-Alfonso Soriano
3b-Albert Pujols(Move him back, best player in baseball one)
ss-Alex Rodriguez(Move him back, best player in baseball two)
lf-Manny Ramirez
rf-Ichiro
cf-Carlos Beltran
Sp-Johan Santana
Sp-Roger Clemens(The way he is throwing this year, I'd say he's got.....7-8 more years in him)
Sp-Jake Peavy
SU-Huston Street
Cl-Brad Lidge(Mariano Rivera is the best closer of all time, but I'll still take the youth)
If we get a DH, I would have to pick Abreu. It was hard not to pick him, he's outstanding.

because he's a great pitcher, but not one of the top 5 dominant pitchers in baseball.

I think they are the same thing. Steroids is a human growth inhancer, which is what Bonds took from Balco
