Sweet, I love the whole story behind their cd's, even if it is kinda weird and hard to understand and makes me feel kinda dorky. None of that matters though, cuz it makes their music so much more enjoyable when you actually know what Claudio is talking about.

I love how they're trying to get people into comics, I just wish I could find a copy of one of theirs somewhere here in the Uk.

Free, I doubt... I'm hoping they will be selling them though. G-Love with Special Sauce is playing tomorrow, you gonna go to that? If you are at all into blues or jazz, you definitely should check them out too.

Free shows rules... not a big Straylight Run fan, but hell if they are playing for free why not?

Has anyone seen Coheed recently? The last two times I saw them, it was pretty sub-par. I love the band but they just werent on when I saw them live, but that was over a year ago. Have then gotten any better?

My local Hot Topic is kinda lame, they get the stuff in but wait forever to put it out. So I'll probably get it whenever they put it in the online store in which Hot topic will then later put it on the shelves. :(

I saw the first issue at Hot Topic before. I still find $4 to be to expensive for a comic book.

The first one is pretty well done. The art for the most part is good. They seem to be using some actual photography in the backgrounds which are pretty cool. The writing has room for improvement. Some of the sci-fi stuff goes on for a while during the intro. Overall...hey I collect comics...I love coheed....put that together and its pretty much heaven.

Now I must go get the new one though I loathe goin to Hot Topic *sigh*

There are around 1500 issues of the first comic around the various hot topic stores across the US. If your store doesn't have it, have them transfer it from a different store. The new comic book just went out recently, so stores should be getting it within this week. $4 is the price that Coheed and Cambria's management/Claudio has on ALL of the comics, not just at Hot Topic. However, Hot Topic is the ONLY place to get it right now. It won't go into other stores until the middle to end of July.

I was talking about the show, not the comic... I doubt they'll have the comics though.

but yeah last time I saw Coheed it was frickin sweet. But well...Hopefully this show kicks all of them outta the water.

You know... I actually went digging around for this the other day(issue 1) and I think I just realized something. I definately bought two copies at warped last year, one for me and one for a friend. And now that I think about it, I can't find this damned thing anywhere. I think my ex has it. And she'll totally never let me have it again. Damn, I guess I gotta go searching at hot topic... le sigh.... Fucking hot topic...

i love coheed but man...the second comic book is such a disappointment when looking at the first. i seriously think that the preliminary excitement of their idea and band and purpose is slowly wearing off for them...i mean, wtf is with the half ass job on this comic?

you know, im probably wrong. the lackluster art is probably due to the lack of funds generated from the first comic since so many ppl just viewed it online. BUY IT, FUCKERS! support coheed...they're just so beautiful...
