Update: A report has surfaced that the Eagles are in negotiations with the on a trade that would send Owens to Oakland for Jerry Porter, according to ABC sports.

Recommendation: Randy Moss told reporters Wednesday he could co-exist with Owens as long as he receives the number of passes he deserves. We doubt that the two receivers would get along in Oakland but the Eagles appear to be so upset with Owens that they would be willing to put the best two receivers in the league on the same team. This would initially cloud the value of both players but stay tuned for more rumors.

wtf? as great a receiver TO is a how scary the raiders could be next year with the 2 best receivers in the league, TO's a team poision and pitting him on a team with a guy like Randy Moss is setting the team up for a midseason implosion.

Dang, I'm an Eagles fan. I don't know how I feel about that. I love TO...

I do however believe that if this does happen, the Eagles would have the best end of the deal.

It's just a rumor, but it's from really legit sources. It's a great move for the Eagles. I hope it happens.

If it was 2004 - Moss and TO on the same team against KC defense = Collins 600 yards passing
If it was 2005 - Moss and TO on the same team against KC defense = Collins 400 yards passing

I think if this pulls threw the Raiders will have something up their sleeves. I think they will end up shipping TO out... kinda like ravens to eagles thing last year. and get a few picks and some in return. sounds farfetched but i would think they wouldn't keep both recievers.

i heard about this rumor a few months after the season. at first i hated the idea, but the longer this drags out, the more i like it. i'm absolutely against the eagles caving to TO, and not a fan of us starting the season with pinkston and lewis as our starting wide outs. the defenses will have 11 in the box on us. Porter is a solid receiver, and with this trade, the eagles are sure to get a good draft pick next year, and free up some space to maybe get someone adequate as a possession receiver. If they can add 70-80 catches without compromising team chemistry, they will be fine.

As far as the Raiders go, well if the Eagles are going to deal him, he might as well go to them. The division is as far away from the NFC east as you can get, and the situation is a blow up waiting to happen. I think the eagles will be fighing back a laugh when they shake the raiders hand to seal it.

i'm sure they'd love to make it work...but they'd need more than porter, probably a 1st round next year and the year after or something to that effect, and the raiders have moss now and probably aren't willing to do all that
