I like that Less Than Jake hase clever song titles that don't sound pretentious. I'm not naming names but there are a few too many bands out there that are trying to hard to make their song titles purposely ambiguous and witty.

There are a lot of Less Than Jake songs where with the guitar doing some crazy riff, the bass flying all over the place, and both vocals going at the same time, when the horn line is laid down it just becomes cluttered, and I am all for a band trying to correct something like that with their "gimmick" instruments.

im sorry anthem was alright but you cant say it is the best ska album or even the best less than jake album. losing streak and hello rockview are far better than anthem without a doubt

there are a lot of songs without horns that are still amazing, and that was an early, early LTJ
if they kept horns in every song, after more than 100 releases, all their songs would sound the same, and they don't at all
i give them so much credit for that

I really dig Borders and Boundaries actually. I don't think it's quite as good as Hello Rockview or Losing Streak, but I still think it's a really solid record.
