Support the children of the world! Watch Live 8... It's an effort to convince the G8 Summit to provide aid and support to a lot of poor countries. They've actually got some good artists in the lineup. U2, the Killers, Madonna (hehehe), Pink Floyd to name a few.

I flicked over and saw Bono ranting about the poverty cause. I knew it would be like that. An alright concert ruined by constant guilt trips about the problems in third-world countries.

I was watching the news today and it had that G8 protest going on. They were talking to one man and he was all like "Oh, I just come to a lot of these things in my spare time". He acted as if he didn't give a shit about the G8 protest, he just wanted to be there.

It's ridiculous. I'm sorry to anyone who goes, but I don't want to spend my day at a concert being ranted at by Bob Geldof and his band of artists about some third-world country.

Besides, the bands only get like 3-4 songs each. It's a joke

They do a great cover of that. They played it on the American Idiot tour last year.

Green Day do put on a good show wherever they play. Shame once you've seen one Green Day show, you've seen them all.

Well, unless you saw them back in the day. Or if you saw them play in 924 Gilman St. That had to be completely different.

More or less. I'd say there are three different eras for them, pre-Dookie, post-Dookie to pre-Nimrod, and then everything else after that.

They're playing tonight in England. It's about 10:15 PM there so they should be on pretty soon. Next hour or so I'd say.
