has there been a triple crown records stage at any of the warped 's you guys have been to? there is one in boston but i wana know who is on it. and i am suppose to be getting a photo pass through 3crown so this will help my chances a lot

I personally can't stand him at all. For something like choosing an admin, it should've been done through PMs/AIM/posts etc. Polls are real retarded.

I'm a regular on one other forum aside from AP (And Vince is a regular there too, that's how he knew what I was talking about.) and back in early 2002, the main administrator decided that he wasn't able to be around enough to run the forum, so he was going to be picking a new administrator. He made a topic for it (A poll.) that consisted of pretty much every respected regular on the forum and he told people to vote.
One of the guys who was a choice in the poll registered probably like 25 accounts and voted for himself, he campaigned people to vote for him. He went through all kinds of shit. He had like 60 votes, which was about 40 more than the person in second. There weren't even that many regular members on the forum to vote, so the number was so inflated that it was obvious he rigged it. That poll (Even though Steve [The main administrator at the time] said that wasn't the only reason.) got him the job. So a rigged poll completely changed the way the forum was run. Granted he didn't do a terrible job or anything, and he did hire me onto staff when he got the job, it was just the point. Poll rigging, and polls in general, just fuckin' suck. When I was made an administrator back over the first of the year I tried all I could to get proof that he rigged it, but the poll was mysteriously gone. Convenient.

He wasn't a terrible administrator though. I completely disagree with Vince on that. He did all he could, just that forum was (and still is) a sinking ship. We're trying to get it back on track though, there's four administrators that do a lot of work on it. We're trying to get it out of the gutter.

I've got it listed as my home page in my profile. I'm not trying to advertise it to people in it's current state though, we're really inactive. We have the same group of members who talk all the time and that's pretty much it.
It's proof that a forum without newbies is a dead one. People who hate newbies should head over to that forum and see what we would be like without new members.

I write for KnifeParty.com (yea, I'll admit it...) and not only is it the most lazy staff ever assembled, but the forums are barely breathing. At the present, they're slightly more active than even a week or two ago, but who knows how long it'll last. Like whatever board they're talking about, it's mostly regulars, and everyone knows everyone and has the same 4 conversations. We get registered newbies a lot, but they never stick around. If you scroll through the list, there's about 400 that have never even posted, then there's only 750 or so registered users.
