i think this album is pretty good, i dont like how his voice seems kind of distant. other than that though i really like it. plus with all the shit this band has been through, seems like a good idea to buy this one.

Though I'm not a huge fan of their music, they do put on a pretty good show and I have a ton of respect for these guys.

Are you saying that he can make a bad band sound good, via Pro Tools?

I would have loved to seen The Junior Varsity on Live 8.

No, but he can make them sound better. There is a difference.

Yeah, they'd fit perfectly right in between Mariah Carey and Pink Floyd.

And Sir Bob Geldof is the biggest closet TJV fan ever.

These guys freakin' own. Best. Live. Band. Ever. (in my opinion...) So go see them live, if you haven't. And order the record. Because it will rule, and not come out of your CD player for weeks on end.

I've seen them a few times and enjoyed them, but by no means are they the best ever live. I'm sorry but that one goes to Green Day and Troubled Hubble.

I've heard about this band since their debut (don't recall title), but I've never really checked them out, I don't know why, but I haven't. So can someone tell me more or less what they sound like?
