Saw this band last night also in Birmingham Alabama, they are really fun to see live. Other bands that played were Soul Control (who I missed), Bad Seed who were pretty good. Swamp Thing were really good, I just started listening to them a lot and they were a lot of fun in both Birmingham and Atlanta. Forfeit from Syracuse NY were pretty good and Foundation gets the crowd going every time since they are from ATL. Unfortunately I don't know any of the bands well enough to give set lists.

Down to Nothing were incredible, I recently started listening to them and can't stop, one of my favorite hardcore band. The pit was really fun also and pretty intense, here are the songs they played (same set both nights):

Intro
Along For The Ride
I Cant Believe My Eyes
My Disguise
Home Sweet Home
Save It For The Birds
3 or 4 Years
When My World Turns Cold
Conquer The World
Smash It
No Faith
Down On You

I thought it was a pretty good set, there were a couple others that I wanted to hear but overall it was a lot of fun, still a little short though. Anyway if they come near you their shows are a guaranteed good time.

Looks like a good show. I'm glad someone else on here goes to actual hardcore shows. How's the scene in Birmingham?

I've been to a couple shows in Birmingham and overall there scene didnt seem too strong, but the other night there was a really big turn out since the venue (Cave 9) was moving to a new location. Plus a lot of Atlanta kids made the drive out to Birmingham so it was a pretty big show. And in Birmingham it was more of a fest there were like 10 bands that played: Forfeit, Foundation, Bad Seed, Mother of Mercy (who were amazing), Mongoloids, Swamp Thing, and Down to Nothing plus a couple of locals. So it was a lot of fun, there werent really any fights which I was kind of expecting cause atlanta kids can be douchebags about stuff in the pit. But yeah usually not that many kids show up to shows in Birmingham, I think the owners of the venue were realy surprised by the turnout.

Im from Atlanta also, but have some relatives in Birmingham. Im not surprised the music scene there is not strong. it seems almost everyone there is a country-fanatic. Atlanta has a much, much stronger scene.

Dammit. I'm still pissed I wasn't able to make the atlanta show.
