I like the starting line-up except for Vlad. I thought that spot should of gone to Anderson. Im glad Hillenbrand made it on. He deserves it for the year he had. Im happy Jeter is not on the team and Hunter should beat him out for the final spot...I hope.

Halladay should start, Rogers shouldn't be there, and Tito should mix up the pitching; Righty, lefty, righty, lefty.

Lo Duca over Piazza, Lopez over eck, Jones and Lee over Edmonds and Beltran. Ensberg got screwed so Rameriz over the ridiculous Rolen. Pujols DH.

Clemens starts. This may be his last chance to start an All-Star Game and he has had one hell of a carrer so give it to him. With all pitchers in the final voting the NL will have a good staff.

If the NL pitching can hold up I think they have a chance to win. The AL has the better line-up that can knock around anyone in the NL if they are not perfect. The NL is stacked with OF all in double digits in Homeruns. It'll be interesting to see how La Russa gives them all playing time, but at the same time using them wisely in key situations where the NL could score some big runs. He's not in a NL park so it shouldn't be as bad. Tito was blessed with the Pitchers he and the players selected. He can pitch right, left all night. I still think that if the NL pitching can stay strong through out they can win this game. It will be fun to see Pedro pitch against Red Sox players, especially Varitek. I will root for the AL, but I have a feeling NL pulls this one out, 7-5

Detroit is such a beautiful city. But really. I was at the State Theatre a couple of months ago, which is across the street from Comerica, that whole area looks like a war zone. Seriously, like the city has been shelled for the last 3 years. Like the All-Star Game is being played in Kosovo.

The AL starting line-up is stacked with AL East players. The NL line-up is eh. Beltran is a hell of a player but he had a unproductive 1st half. I don't know why Scott Rolen is starting either. Oh well, its just the All-Star game. Doesn't count -_-
