Yeah Travis said that. Neither Mark or Tom have talked about it to my knowledge, and Mark and Tom are blink..this to me sounds like its not all over yet, otherwise why no statement about it? Why no big 'end of blink' celebration thing on their site?..to me it seems like after theyve done their side projects they will be back.

No this is credible becuase I intern at Interscope and heard the record played. I mean I could have sworn it was Tom's voice. I didn't ask though. But it did sound amazing, whatever I heard. Let me say this though if its not Tom's album there's some band thats coming out that has a lead singer that sounds like Tom and is a rip off of his style. Who knows.

Plus Travis has had Transplants for a few years, and they did do bcr.. but yeah I get ya, blink should be blink, not split up into different 'projects'..the stuff should be interesting though, I really hope they all get back together though.

i remember reading that as far as travis was concerned blink was over.

too bad the transplants suck. plus 44 sounds like it could be interesting. And if Tom goes solo....that could be good too...although seeing him live would call for many an earplug

I've seen him live 3 times and never needed an earplug...and anyways, regardless of if they celebrated or not, I think if blink was REALLY over, they would have said more about it than they did..

he also went on to completely contradict himself like 8 days later by saying things implying they will be back. hes bipolat, hell he might be tripolar. he's the one talking about it cause he was the one with the tv show, and hes the media whore. tom and mark just keep busy with all their other projects, and dont care about the attention.

Interscope would make sense. Blink's major label deal was with MCA which was later just obsorbed completely into geffen and eliminated. it would make sense that he would do his side project on a geffen label as he is under contract to geffen. Also geffen is shifting a lot of Indie stuff over to Interscope to make it a little more cred in that scene it seems, they moved most of the dreamworks roster to interscope, so it would seem like a completely logical decision.

I donno about Tom's solo project, but I'm definately pumped for Plus 44. I think Mark is the one that made Blink 182 for me. He's the one that sang "Apple Shampoo." Tom made their new record sound like they were trying too hard.

I think everyone is missing something...the last album took them 9 months to record and after that they had said that they would probably doing the whole "taking our time" process again...if their recording in January....and Plus 44 releases in the summer....then a tour...plus Tom doing his side project...not gonna work out...there will be side projects, but no blink for a long time

This will be an amazing album. I'm interested to hear anything any member of Blink 182 touches...although I'm not a Transplants fan. Tom and Mark were Blink and I'm excited to see what they can pull off on their own. I don't really care where the source came from as long as it's not some lame ass rumor.

I love blink don't get me wrong, but I just feel like it would be the wrong time for blink to release an album in Jan, when they'll be all busy with their side projects. Plus-44's album doesn't come out until next summer so at that time they'll be finishing up that particular album and be busy booking tour stuff. I mean it could happen, but I just don't think the time would be right.

box car racer was originally an all acoustic thing. it changed somehow though. Blink wil be back. But we'll be getting lots of different styles. and hey!if they wanan do diff styles i'd prefer (if they do muck it up) them to muck up on a non-blink record than on a blink one.

i am very stoked for plus 44 AND tom's side project, if that is true. but in the end, i will not feel closure without one last blink album. i have a strong feeling that they will release at least one more. i think they're just taking a break. years of touring and publicity does that to you.
but you know what would be awesome? this whole entire "blink hiatus" was actually just a cover up and they are writing new material as we speak.

Box Car Racer was more or less his first solo album, he wrote all the songs and was the ringleader, with everybody else being his pawn.

thatt's so funny becuase until recently it was totally the opposite. travis is such a quiet guy. i think the reality tv show was a bad idea, i liked him better when he was mysterious. he is still the best drummer around as of now though.

i love old blink but they really should end it on good terms. lots of bands do have reunion shows and stuff like that and i'm guessing blink will too. but i just can't stand tom's voice anymore. maybe i grew out of whiney pop-rock/pop-punk/whatever, but i'm excited for plus-44 and not tom's solo shit.
