why i love/hate warped tour

warped was today and it was awesome as usual.

but the problem was that i got my wallet pickpocketed. it had $100, a credit card, my licence, and my social security card... so that sucks balls...

but what really sucks is that i wanted to buy a warped shirt and a gatsby shit at the end of the concert, but i couldnt...

so basically does anyone know where to get a warped 05 shirt online or the brown gatsby shirt (not the one on their site)

and if not, if there is a kind soul that will buy one for me when the tour comes around their way and mails it to me... i'll even throw in an extra $10 for being nice...

warped tour was fun when i went. but it wasnt anything near what its cracked up to be.

Way to expensive. Water costs a bomb, which is equals THEFT in my mind, especially as I was in Atlanta at the end of July watching it. Too many people.

but the good thing is, you get to meet bands etc.

Oh, and75% of the time, the sound sucks. lol

the blue or brown gatsby shirt in medium would be awesome... i dont remember what the warped shirts looked like but a pretty siple black one that says warped 05 on the front in medium would be cool. and if you do (which you dont have to of course) i'll send the extra $10 as a thank you.

i might not be the best person to get them for you though, just because i'm in canada and tours seem to bust up their merch prices here. i can't remember the last time i bought merch at warped so i don't know how much it would be either.... i'm guessing like $15/shirt (canadian)... but i could be way off since usually bigger bands like those on warped sell shirts for $20 canadian at their shows here.

oh and i just remembered, i dont think gatsby's is playing my stop so maybe you should just forget me and get someone else to do it.

Yeah I went with two other guys from ap and had a blast. Hidden In Plain View, Emery, Underoath, Gatsby's, TREOS were all awesome. TSL, much to my surprise were stellar live. Fall Out Boy was decent, Matchbook Romance was as well, and it was fun to watch The Transplants because Travis has good stage prescense.

Warped Tour kicks ass because there are fatty bands and local bands and medium sized bands that play all at the same place, and there is variety so you can ditch what you hate and watch what you like. Good times.

Back on topic:

Warped Tour was fun because I went with a good friend of mine who just recently got into this "type" of music. The sad/shitty thing was that where the fuck where the old Warped Tour punk bands? Since when did post-hardcore/metalcore make up the majority of Warped Tour? Whatever happened to NoFX and Rancid? What about Less Than Jake? These bands used to play EVERY FUCKING YEAR. Now, Warped is just a bunch of trendy Hot Topic scenesters with their stinkin' white studded belts invisible ninja kicking to Hawthorne Heights.

No, "hxc" dancing is NOT cool. Slam dancing is for dumb fucks who think Atreyu is great.
