Me and a buddy of mine have recently gotten into a debate.


do you consider radiohead in the top 5 bands hailing from England?

obviously there is some stiff competition: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Rolling Stones, The Smiths, Pink Floyd, The Cure, and the list goes on. i want to see peoples opinions on this.

I'd say they're number five, behind the first three you mentioned and The Clash.

I think the only reason radiohead would be left out is because they are a modern band, and most modern bands don't get any love when it comes to historic bests in music. In no certain order, I'd sat the beatles, led Zeppelin, the who, pink floyd and radiohead.

I'm pretty sure most people who declare radiohead as overrated haven't heard what's actually being said about them by reliable sources or haven't listened to their music in-depth.

If not top 5, certainly in the top 10.
