Victory Records suck ass.

the label sucks, but not all of the bands. straylight run rocks. and tjv are pretty solid, i'm enjoying their new one.

This website is absolutely disgusting. It's so biased that it makes me sick. Its not a news site, its a bash and gossip site for people who think that they're such musical elitists, that if you like a band they don't agree with, you should be banned off the face of the earth. Start supporting bands, not giving them a bad name. If you don't like them, so be it, but don't go ranting around town about how absolutely dreadful their new release is, or how their song sounds like someone elses, or how they didn't wear the right style of shoes this year at warped tour and OMGZ, i cant like this band anymore!

Is the new Silverstein song any better than their older stuff? I am interested to see if they changed for the better in any way, but I have a feeling they didn't. Also, how is the new Bayside track?

i was really dissapointed by the forecast sampler they gave me. the outside of the envelope or whatever compared them to straylight run, and while im not a big fan of SR's vocals, I like the music...long story short its in the garbage as you read this.

I agree with Underoath and Relient K, both very solid CD's. I never got into Say Anything at all and This Day and Age's CD was good but not as stellar as Underoath and Relient K for me at least. Although Second Place Victory is an amazing song.

i have always been a big silverstein fan... so i was afraid that the cd was going to suck.... kinda like how ASL turned out...

I listen to it at least 3 times a week and I am not even close to being sick of it. Granted, the first six songs are better than the last half of the CD, but it's still a really solid record. Sorry, don't know what to tell you.
