Which of these directors with either one or two films under their belt do you think has the brightest future?

I voted Shane Black because KKBB is my favorite movie. And the man knows how to craft an action/comedy.

I'll go with Jason Reitman. I loved Thank You For Smoking, its one of the better movies I've seen in the last few years.

I went with Jonathan Dayton & Valerie Faris, but Jason Reitman was a close second.
I just think Little Miss Sunshine is such a perfect film.

I'm leaning towards Jason Reitman but I don't know. Tough choice.

You have to go for Richard Kelly. Donnie Darko is an absolute masterpiece.
Smash Adams

I feel like Rian is the only one on this list to have made two solid movies so I went with him

Donnersmarck because the Lives of Others was so freaking amazing. AND it got talked up a lot so hopefully he is in the public eye...

Craig Gillespie. Not saying he will be making "great" movies, but I see him making movies that will be financially successful.

went with Tony Gilroy
Stuart Gordon needs to be an option what the fuck. These polls are so flawed it's not even funny. Seriously Edmond shits all over any of those movies these chumps in that list have done.

I gotta say John Hillcoat.
Well, technically he's done three films, but two of them were very small international releases.

What the shit? Gordon has directed twelve films! He could have been an option in 1987.

I'm gonna add Julian Schnabel and Ben Affleck to that list and probably choose Black.
I'm adding Peter Webber and choosing Miller on that list

Reitman. Both his films so far have been critical hits and highly profitable. I don't necessarily think they are the two best movies on the list but they have been the most successful and i'm sure studios will give him lots of great scripts to work with in the future.
Reitman. I like Juno less every time I hear something about it but that guy has some serious talent. There are some other very good names on that list though.

well i mean if you totally disregard its completely unique and original script.... innovative story-telling.....above average acting...superb soundtrack...and creative ending. Then i guess you could call it a "terrible film".

Richard Kelly also did Southland Tales, which was a huge flop. I'd say there really isn't much to show when his best movie was 8 years ago and his upcoming movie sounds kind of like a ripoff of Pushing Daisies.

I just watched All The Boys Love Mandy Lane and it was a pleasant surprise. If The Wackness is as good as people say, than Jonathan Levine is a good choice.
