The Aquabats (http://www.theaquabats.com) have posted an update from the road, as they're currently on the Teenage Pajamas From Outer Space tour in support of their new album Charge!, and i've posted it below if you're interested in reading it over. The Bats always seem to know how to put together a good story:

The Tour RAGES ON!!!!!
Greetings from the road! As the aquabats travel the highways and by-ways of the nations, it has been an incredible Journey to see so many friendss and fans along the way. Our tour journal is a little behind at this point but you can check out all of our adventures and misadventures on our new blog space:

Speaking of horrible updates!! Something super crazy happened at our show at the Ottobar in Baltimore, a giant Reptillian Lemur started shooting lightning at all of the night clubs in the city, totally destroying the power in Baltimore!! It turned out our show ended up getting cancelled and many were turned away but in good news the show has been RESCHEDULED!!!! For AUGUST 20th, so if you have tickets still hang on to them! All tickets for the show from June 28th will be honored!
Also, in other lame news, ALL trading cards are totally SOLD OUT so if you are looking to get trading cards, you will have to wait until the next batch come out. And to help get the cards out sooner, feel free to email NITRO records to tell them to HURRY UP AND MAKE MORE!!!
Speaking of Lagging, the Aquabats new video for the smash hit song, "FASHION ZOMBIES!" is taking it's own sweet time getting finished but should be done by the end of this week. The reason it's taking so long is because it seems that the M.C.Bat Commander is a little bit of a perfectionist and wants the video to turn out GOOD!! Man! What a jerk! Even though he has a little problem letting the video go, that doesn't mean you kids can't start bombarding your favorite music video channels and shows with requests for the Aquabats newest most AWESOME VIDEO EVER!! Just send in letters and emails to all the music video programs so you can make sure you can see it!! It just may save television!!

Speaking of requesting stuff, this kid Rob Wilcox from Philly got our song played on the radio and there fore qualified for a free dinner and t-shirt!! We met up with him and his pals before the show at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia, and from there got some cheese steaks to go, then the next time we saw him he was riding the crowd in a new Aquabats' T-shirt!! Congratulations Rob and thanks for the ground support!
Speaking of ground support, the Aquabats street team has been out in full support and if you are interested in joining the forces of the street team check out the street team info on NITRO records dot com! If you are already a member of the street team please email your pictures in so we can show the world our little Army of street tem commandos!!!
And finally, cadet kits have sold out for now but we are in the process of getting things back together and they should be available real soon. We apologize for any inconviniences with back orders and what not with the store, we are doing our best to keep it all together. Please have patience with us at the store!! We are doing our best!!
