DE makes me depressed man. i went to wilmington once, i got lost and i asked mexicans if i could pee in their bathroom, they didnt not speak english. i made some hand gestures and they had informed me the bathroom was down the hall. i went into a dark place and i thought they were going to kill me.

wilmington is building up...the kahuna is stealing shows from philly and doing them much much better...parking is free and the crowds aren't all 14...wawa's everywhere...dover's got the slots and might steal preakness...nascar (it's an acquired taste)....no sales tax (1.99 MEANS 1.99), and the harmony grange brings in good shows (http://projectunity.cjb.net)

Yeah...I know that...we get commercials here on the radio telling us to come down to Delaware for tax-free shopping...but thats only like one or two months out of the year...how is that helpful for the other 10-11?

if you live within 10 miles of DE and smoke or drink...you're saving hundreds a year on that alone...

Some people makes events out of driving to Delaware to go shopping. With the outlets off of Route 1, madness.

God I love Delaware. We've got a camper in Tuckahoe Acres (right outside of Bethany Beach) and I love down there. I just got back today. And Rehoboth is a sweet beach except for its flamboyance. One time I saw this dude in nothing but a yellow zebra-striped speedo, aviators, and a matching sailor hat. I almost pissed my pants.

Route 1's a bitch. I just drove that today, it was pretty crazy traffic-wise and I do indeed love the no sales tax. Also, Delaware houses three of my favorite food establishments in the entire world:

Hocker's Fried Chicken
Grotto's Pizza
Al Casapulla's (the single best fucking sandwich shop EVER)

Man, I miss that state. I had a great week down there.

garden city is amazing. it's right below myrtle beach, so you can go up there and go to the boardwalk. it's not that crowded either, really low key. it's awesome.
