Who do you think is gonna win?
Jason Bay, because he's on my fantasy team and I like him.

Ortiz because he is on the Red Sox and he is a beast.

I'd like to see Bay win, but I doubt he will. Ortiz seems to be built for it. Though as a casual fan, I don't know who Carlos Lee and Teixeira are.

They are people who will be put in their place once Ortiz stands in. :animateds

Lee leads the NL in Rbi's and hit a nice rack of homers. Texieria's lead's the AL in HR's. Strong white boy. but I think Big Papi has this one. but you never know.

it is at 8
as a boston fan, love to see ortis get it, he is a pull hitter, that crushes anything that hangs over the plate, so he has a great chance, but i put my vote for teixeira... the guy has been on a fire this year, and if he is swinging in the derby like he has been in games, its gonna be hard to beat. Id say test that guy for some steriods.

oh please. steroids don't hit homeruns. yes, they make you stronger and help to endure a 162-game schedule but Texeira is a stud. through and through.

Just when I thought the Pirates couldn't be any more embarrassing, Jason Bay hits 0 HRs.

everyone saw, but what are people going to say? Ya I saw that, those idiots! I think you covered that.
That All-Star game sucked
I didn't watch the whole thing, but It was pretty interesting. There were some laser shots by Tejada and Jones. Some good pitching, good D, and the NL made a run in the 9th to give some drama. The game will get a lot better when the NL and AL actually have balanced line-ups. I said that the Nl was going to win (part because of their bench) 7-5, but looking at it now, the AL starting line-up was wayyyyy stronger and their bench was just as good. The only team I can see holding their own in the world series would be the cardinals.

I'm guess Abreu hits 24 in the first round and oh lets say about 41 for the competition.
