best wishes to those guys. while i'm here i am warning everybody. i originally said fuck this tour, but my friend wanted to go. so i got a ticket, being a friend. i went today...this was the shittiest piece of white trash shit metal hell you will ever see in your life. unearth fucking shredded..they, madball, norna jean and throwdown were the only saving graces. i also got to meet unearth, super nice guys. in conclusion, gwar is the most contrived bullshit you will ever witness and sounds of the underground is horrible, save your money.

Um, I'm not trying to insult you, but do you get the joke of Gwar? As far as being contrived, Gwar has been doing this for over a decade. So when Reggie and the Full Effect does their dressing up, screaming, stuff like Hungry Bear etc., and everyone thinks it's "genius", they're, uh, "borrowing" from Gwar. They're like the Rocky Horror Picture show, and done in the end, just for entertainment.


That being said, Gwar makes me shudder.

Norma Jean should be killed for being the shittiest band there that day...they tried to slow their breakdowns so they would sound heavier and ended up sounding like my ass after a case of PBR. Obviously you only like pop shit and have no idea what true talent is. Strapping Young Lad, Opeth, High On Fire, Clutch and Every Time I Die play more than chug, squeal mosh shit. There are actual guitar parts. In conclusion, due to your picture of the Fall Out Boy Singer in your signature, never comment on metal again.

I saw this coming...

they announced it was their last show at the nj date of the sounds tour.

apparently, they had problems w/ their bus and had to get it towed and they were fighting all day long and at the end of the day, they were barely on speaking terms w. each other. i wouldnt be surprised if they announced a break/breakup soon.
