Which one do ya think is better, Party For The Grown and Sexy or So Young, So Insane?
And of Course, Why?
I'll Start by stating my fav, and I'll have to say the So Young, So Insane is better. Gotta Love the lyrics and the guitar esp. in I Can Get Back Up Now, but my favorite song has got to be Happy Birthday... But I still love the first one Esp. Carolina Heat...

I feel like people are going to vote for SYSI because it is the new hot thing.
I personally think PFTGAS is a better overall EP however, and maybe in a year or two more people will recognize.

I love this band and love them both, but I think I'm gonna have to go with PFTGAS.

I loved SY,SI when I first listened to it, but it had no staying power for me.

Party For The Grown and Sexy definitely. Has more staying power imo then SYSI.

I voted for PFTGAS because i was hooked on the first few spins of that EP where SYSI took me about a days worth of listening to get into..both are really sweet EP's

I'm really into both. But as of now, I know the PFTGAS songs more, so I would say they are better. I've definitely listened to them more. But I think SYSO is a damn solid EP as well.
Plus, the PFTGAS songs are just so damn SEXUAL. I love it...

PFTGAS, every song is just so darned good.
Still SYSO is a really solid EP.
So Young So Insane is my favorite, although Party For The Grown and Sexy is still really good though.

Definitely PFTGAS. So Young So Insane is good, but it just isn't the same. They almost toned themselves down to sound more poppy/appealing, which isn't a good thing. Both are great albums, but Party is just superior.

I agree, but i think it was done to help them get signed, i think once they are they would probably go back to the style of PFTGAS

so young, so insane is the better ep
"Livin' Th' Dream" is such a great song.

I love both, but I feel that SYSI is more concisely written. I like the vocals better too.

nice, that's my current favorite YMAEWK song too.
PFTGAS got me into them, but SYSI was definitely my favorite.

It seems that both aare well liked but PFTGAS seems to be more liked
very, very tough decision. i'd have to say that 'so young, so insane' showed definite maturity. it was more refined, and had better production. but it wasn't as varied as 'party for the grown and sexy'. "livin' th' dream" and "i can get back up now" pretty much carry both e.p.'s. and they represent their respective albums pretty well too. very tough. but i went with 'so young, so insane'.

The EP's are very different, and very good in their own ways.
But I go with PFTGS because its got the raw feel to it it over the polished Young and Insane feel.

SYSI, simply due to I Can Get Back Up Now. I love that song so much.

I think I always end up more attached to the album that gets me into a band than any other album they come out with.

I'm going with SYSI, just because I've never listened to their other EP, and I just love Happy Birthday.

i know what you mean but i'm reluctant to make that statement. it makes me think of all the dumbasses who bitch and moan about how take this to your grave is the only good fall out boy cd. while i will probably remember getting into a band because of a particular cd, i try to be open minded and give other stuff a fair chance.

lol I'm not a dumbass and I don't bitch and moan about things like that. actually since you mentioned Fall Out Boy, I've loved every single one of their releases including Folie A Deux, and I certainly don't think TTTYG is their only good album. I always look forward to new music from bands I love and I definitely always am openminded and give it a fair chance. being attached to the album that made you fall in love with a band really doesn't say any of the things you said.

i agree completely with that, but all i meant is that some people don't even give new music a chance or immediately dismiss it solely for the fact that it's not the exact same sound that they heard the first time.

SYSI, though PFTGAS isn't far behind. I like the direction in which they're headed. It's promising.

SYSI. I love Colorful Language.

ok...i didn't say that it does or that you are at fault. i was just making a general statement about the way some people view music. i wasn't trying to lump you in to that group and i don't mean to imply that i find fault with anything you said.

This is actually a pretty tough poll. I went with So Young, So Insane. This band seem to write gold and give it away for free. Definitely one of the best bands around at the moment. Can't wait to hear new material from them!

Both great EPs. PFTGAS was instantly catchy, while SYSI took a little while for me, but Happy Birthday is quickly challenging Livin' the Dream as my favorite YMAEWK song.
