Doors open at 7 p.m. and show starts at 8 p.m. You must have a TCNJ ID
to purchase tickets to the show. Limited to two tickets per TCNJ ID.
Only TCNJ students can purchase tickets but they can give one of
their tickets to a guest of their choosing.

I am going to be getting on line probably around 5 or whenever a decent line starts forming. if anyone is making a trip, i suggest getting here by then.

I'm all the way down in Virginia Beach, so I drove to Fredericksburg the night before to stay with a friend, and drove up to Jersey the next day. First people in line behind me could get another ticket, so problem solved. All you really had to do was show up early enough. They did end up turning away hundreds of people.

There was about 1000 people in line 2 hours before doors even opened. only 827 were only let in.

No new songs, but did mention at the end of the night they would be releasing a new album and touring this summer. As for the TCNJ crowd, sucked. Nothing but obnoxious i love u jessies and your favorite weapon shout outs. it got to jesse and he made a few remarks about it in his jesse way. he talked about forgetting home to play older songs. dual drum kits for a few songs and overall one of the best brand new shows i've seen. Kevin was amazing as well, but the crowd wasn't too into it unfortunietly


this show sounds absolutely amazing. the fact that they played stuff from YFW doesn't surprise me much. when i saw Jesse on his solo tour in November, he played some stuff from that. everybody must have flipped when they started playing Quiet Things. they haven't played that in so long.

i'm sorry that the crowd wasn't into it. that sucks. when i saw brand new at geneseo college, reel big fish opened for them. people were yelling "F-ck Brand New!" when RBF said that it was their last song. Glad you had fun though.

Yeah it was seated. It was awesome, the only thing that could've been better is if it was dinner theater. I actually know people going to that tonight, so you could've done both. Haha, but have fun- that's one tour I really wish I could make.

Well following this link just made me sick to my stomach. The way this event was planned was easily the worst handled thing I have ever 'attended'. I quote 'attended' because I was there, just not in the show as TCNJ decided it was only a good idea to sell seats at the door, which is okay if they had handled it the right way. I believe there were 800+ seats where the concert was; a line formed. We went at 5 o' clock and stood there until they started letting people in. There were about 300 in front of us when we got on line, however there was no supervision of the line until things got way out of hand. I guess the line more than doubled in front of us while we were there because we were left 40 people out of getting in. There was easily 600+ standing behind us if not more. So 3 hours in the cold was wasted trying to get into the show just to be told to go home at 8 when the show started. Well done TCNJ.

This could have easily been avoided if it was handled pretty much any other way than how they decided to do it. Anyway, awesome for those who got to see the show and I wasn't all the bummed since BN have pretty much stopped playing a lot of their older stuff (haven't been playing quiet things, 70x7, jude law, etc; pretty much shower scene and no seatbelt plus a few off deja) until now; seeing this list makes me cry a little on the inside.

I agree that it was handled very poorly. I don't think TCNJ realized how big of a deal this would turn out to be or that so many people will do pretty much anything to see them. They definitely should have sold tickets ahead of time to avoid so many disappointed people getting turned down the day of, but then you would have seen tickets being sold for $100 everywhere--which I know Brand New tries to avoid. It's kind of a lose-lose no matter what.

Anyways, just a heads up for the NJ people...I've heard Brand New is playing Ramapo sometime in April. I'm not sure if it's true, but keep an eye out.

Yep, it's open to public. Tickets will be on sale at "Roadrunner Central", our event/ticket booth on campus. Unlike the mess at TCNJ, you'd have to show up the day tickets go sale and wait in line.

And as far as I know so far, it's in the basketball arena, so I'd ASSUME it'd be mostly standing room with some seating (bleachers) in the back.

No, not at all. I was kind of joking about some people who are yabbering on their phones while the band is playing. I was at a Thrice show and during some of the slower songs these girls started calling people and yelling into their phones. It was like they were annoyed at the band for playing while they were trying to have a conversation. No, no, no, you're fair game. Hence the wink at the end of the post.
