Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with all of the posts above mine. There is a lot of good stuff coming from Canada, especially of late. It's sort of become the 'Seattle' of a lot of indie music. I, too, have composed a list of bands to look into from our friends up north. I'm sure there are A LOT more than I have here, but it's a start.

Wow, that's totally what I was thinking, then like The Weakerthans pretty soon after that. Like shit people come on now. And I know it's been said about 12 times but fucking Moneen is the best band to come out of Canada in a long time. Like I really like DFA, but I dunno, theya re getting kinda played out, and I just don't know what the big deal with Alexisonfire and Cauterize is. I've seen both and neither one raelly impressed me at all. I even ought both records cause I figured what the hell and yeah, they just didn't do anything for me.

And just for the record, the new BNO is fucking awesome, regardless of how many people say they are genaric and shit. It really is gonna be one of the coolest albums this year.

Boys night out only had like 30 people watching them at warped tour. i was right up front singing along to every lyric of the three new songs they played. boys night out kicks ass. i think billy idol and the transplants where playing at the same time as boys night out. i dont like either band and the lead singer was really cool. you can tell he loves his music and his fans just by talking to him for like 5 mins. it was great.
