DOes anyone know anything about dual citizenship ? I am not the smartest when it comes to government stuff. I plan on moving and going to school in the UK in alittle over 15 months maybe. I wanna live there. I heard you can get dual citizenship but I cant find anything on it. SO if you have any info on how that works or know where I can read up on it could you post it on here ? Well, If it pans out how I want it too, I should be getting a job soon, plus my lme recycling and allowance (( 20 a week )) I plan on saving up. I can graduate high school early and get a full time job plus like almost 17 grand in the bank already. I will have a friend with me most likely. SHe wants to get our of the US just as badly as I do. But I am for sure going.

I would if anyone I knew was able to explain that stuff. The last family member I asked just said whow muchAmerican are hated overseas. And as much as thats scary, IDC. Even if I can just find a website that explains it, I would be happy.

Anyone who's parents or grandparents were spanish can apply for citizenship, you basically need to go to an embassy or consulate of the appropiate country, ask for information, and they most likely will ask for things such as birth certificates, passports as evidence of citizenship in your country, etc. It's all paperwork.

Assuming no one in your immediate family is British (and their process is similar to Spain's), you're most likely going to have to live there for some time before becoming a UK citizen, and I'm not saying a month or two, more like 2-5 years. I'm pretty sure you also have to take classes, learn hymns and all that stuff, same thing immigrants go through to be US citizens. It's not an easy process or something to buy at a candy store. If it was easy everyone would have dual citizenship, this was only recently allowed for US citizens.

... and I still don't get how you're 16 and leaving the country with a friend. Life in the real world isn't that easy.
