ill have random dreams where i swear to god theyre real. i know they are. but alot of time i just think im weird.

they do mean something. but some shit is just nonsense

i have had a similar recurring nightmare for years about forgetting my class schedule in high school and missing important tests. It's weird, since I moved back "home" (where I went to hs) I haven't had it as much and I'm glad because it's creepy and totally stressful.

I dream about work quite often nowadays, which sucks. Occasionally I'll dream about old friends of mine who I haven't talked to or seen in years. I haven't had any really crazy dreams in a few months.

So I'm riding this over-sized bird which can't fly, and a bunch of stuff happens that I can't remember. Eventually, me and some other people take an elevator to the top of an 18-story hospital building. At the time I remember being scared because I don't like heights. I find out we're going to the top because I guess an asteroid is coming and going to the top of something was our best way to avoid it. Anyway, the asteroid crashes into the earth and the top of the building I'm on goes flying off. We float for awhile and then go falling towards the earth, but as soon as we hit the ground some guy pulls a lever of sorts and we land safely.

Next we start riding through this almost sewer-like place and trying to escape something, except this time everyone is on these animals that look like really big hedgehogs. Some fucking fish in the sewer shot me with these poky things which go into my thighs and hurt like a bitch throughout the rest of the dream.

That's basically all I remember. Shame that dreams probably don't mean shit.

i've had terrifying dreams before. i had a dream once that me, my sister and two friends were outside of like a building and next thng you know, we get hit by a car. and that dream happned right before my sister and i and our two friends left for a road trip. nothing bad happened on that trip, so i dont know what it was supposed to mean. that road trip was actually amazing.

I've been having dreams recently about murdering the most random of people. The first dream had me and two other kids jumping this one kid and smashing his head into concrete. The second one I got caught smoking weed, so I was grounded, and Mos Def rang my doorbell and he was screaming at me and he had a gun in his hand. I let him in and then when he was saying something, I smashed his head into the wall, stole the gun and shot him in the head. The third one, I shot three people with a silenced pistol in some shopping mall. That one I was really uncomfortable with, and the last thing I remember saying was "I just fucked my life." It was weird.

I was reading the plot to george romero's Land of the Dead while I was waiting for it to download off a torrent site last night when I fell asleep. I then proceeded to dream I was on an airplane, barricaded in the back with a zombie outbreak taking over the front half of the plane. We were getting washers and dryers (?) to block the passageways to where the zombies could get at us. Then suddenly we were in the same situation and set up, but it was in an alley somewhere. When we didn't have enough washers and dryers to block all the ways into our hiding place, I volunteered to go out past our hiding place to get more, accompanied by a beautiful woman who I'm pretty sure doesn't exist in real life. We went out and then suddenly I was hovering (?) over a neighborhood and I had to get to this one house that I could get whatever I needed at. Wouldn't you know, but a ZOMBIE MAILMAN was there delivering the mail!!! I tried to sneak around him but he lunged at me and cut my hand just a little bit, infecting me. I then chopped off his head with a butter knife and fell to the ground, accepting my death, but the beautiful woman was there and even though I told her to stay back because I was going to become a zombie, she stayed with me and I blacked out in her arms.

Honestly, I'm not joking. It was pretty much a movie.

Take the one I had last night for instance. My friends and I were throwing an outdoor party in the park near where I live. It was totally awesome and a lot of people showed up. Suddenly, I noticed that all of our guests were zombies. So I went to find my "brother" (which was actually Jason Segel circa Freaks and Geeks) and asked him if he had a lighter, because I had to burn all of the zombies. I then proceeded to use lighters, matches, torches, and other such fire sources to kill all of the zombies. Then my friends got mad at me for ruining the party.

Same, I get deja vu all the time from things I've seen in dreams. Most of the time it's really random and unimportant things. It's sometimes really scary to think about. The creepiest was over the summer I had a dream and I was in school and in class. Everything was completely normal, nothing outrageous, and it was a science classroom which I had never seen before in real life. I didn't really remember the dream after that day. Then (this is in real life) I was at school and it was about 4 months after the new school year had started and I was sitting in my chem class. It was just a normal class and my teacher was at the board writing a chemical formula and then this girl turns around and says something (not to me) and that's when I realize I've been in this situation before. Exactly how it was that second. So I remember it was from the dream I had about 5 months prior to that.

The creepy thing is that in my dream I had a clear visual of the classroom that was completely accurate to how it is in real life, but when I had the dream, I had never been in the classroom...ever. I didn't see the classroom in real life until 1 month after the dream. I have no idea how I could picture something that is real that I have never seen before. When I have deja vu it always involved people I have seen and places I have been. That was a first.

I had one of the most messed up dreams of my life the other day.

I was at an Emery concert with 2 of my friends and my brother in law (all of which do not like Emery). The concert was in an outdoor convenience store and the band kept bringing people up on stage to hand out prizes. Then in the distance we could see a Steven Curtis Chapman concert going on but couldn't hear it. Also behind the stage tornadoes kept forming, moving towards the stage then disappearing right before any damage happened. Then my friend Karen got called up on stage, got a prize then came down and gave me a big hug. We then left the concert holding hands and on the way out i grabbed a box of kleenex.

I woke up and out loud said, "what the f*ck?"

He said he was alright but he kept holding his hand and I asked him to let me see it. I had to argue with him but finally he pulled his other hand off it and it was bad. Bone sticking out and all. I told him he needed to go to a hospital but he said no, he couldn't afford it.

I've dreamy I was sleeping on the cutting board on the line (kitchen line) and (two windows used to line my bed) this server kept coming over and banging on the food window telling me to wake up and cook her party's slip.

A couple weeks ago I dreamt I had eaten glass or a razor blade or something. It was fucked up.

The setting was on the top of a speeding train, but on top of this train was a kitchen line. There was no support on the sides, allowing people to lean off to the side. Other trains would come from the other direction, making it very dangerous. I was working this line with people I'm not too sure of. I'm pretty sure my father made an appearance, but he was on the other side of the line and it was so crowded. But I was working on the fryolator (spell check?) side and I was pulling up a basket and the train jerked real hard. Oil splashed onto my hand and out of I'm assuming pain and surprise, I yelled What the fuck?!? I look up and it looks like the train cars/cabs in front our our car were twisted sideways, crashing, and I just knew our car was next. Everything faded to black as I said I didn't want to die aloud.

I woke up scared shitless from that one.

Example #1:I had a dream where a tsunami hit and it swept me up to the point where my leg was pressed up against the corner of a kitchen cabinet(I don't know why but the kitchen was missing wall) and before I started to drown I immediately woke up and I could still feel the cabinet pressed up against my leg.

I have very, very fucked up dreams. I've had this one reoccuring dream since I was around 8. It entails:
Posters (yes, the kind that are hung up on walls, including flyers etc) revolt against humans and start butchering my town with machetes. In any event, I end up escaping into this underground lake (much like the end of the goonies, minus the sweet pirate ship) and there is this little hole of light at the top. I walk up invisible stairs and can barely fit my head through the hole. When my head rises above the survace, it is on a chopping block- this is when the "king poster" grabs my hair, tilts my head back, and whispers, "Are you ready to see the garden?" He raises his machete and swings down to chop off my head, and every year I wake up with the machete a little closer.

Anyone else get recurring dreams? There's one dream that I've been having on and off for years, and another one that just started happening a few months ago. They're both pretty similar (being chased/ running from someone or something), but they don't seem to really connect in any way.
