The thing about MCR is that they immediately come off as a cliche "emo" band...but they write some songs that just do NOT fit into that category at all. People who say they dislike them need to actually take the time to check out more of their songs before they base their entire opinions or them on "teenagers" and "welcome to the black parade"

Those songs really aren't that great...or a good representation of their sound.

The exact way I feel. Bullets and Three Cheers were incredible albums, but The Black Parade was total shit.

Guess I'm one of the few that actually really enjoyed The Black Parade. Thought it was a great album. Really dislike Teenagers though. Sleep is an awesome song and probably my favorite on the album

i have to agree with most of that. however, i was moved by cancer, but i absolutely hate teenagers, welcome to the black parade and sleep. but i cannot think of any really good songs on the album. at first i enjoyed the sharpest lives, i don't love you and house of wolves, but now i can't really stand any of them.

nooo i've seen all 3 live at different points on theire career, although MGMT and My chemical romance played the same venue, MGMT had more hype, but anyway watching them both in front of 50 people was okay, and simple plan were in front of like 2500, but still i believe MGMT out the lot were the best show :)
