ya definitely. Some of the shit says is horrible...one of the themes is like...Children are a burden to all women...the only way a woman can be happy is by never having kids...the woman in the book stops loving her kids...

thank god she kills herself in the end.

With my job I have a lot of breaks so I can read a lot. I've already read Morning In America, which is about Reagan's impact on the culture of the 80s and how they transcend and stuff. Now I'm reading Nothing Feels Good, which if you don't know, is about the 'emo' scene.

I picked that up, but have yet to start reading it.

Is it good?

yeah, seriously. catch 22 is one of the best books i've ever, ever read. plus, it's funny as hell. zen was pretty good, but i haven't read the other too so i'd have to suggest that one

The Awakening is crap, but an easy read. I'd go with either that or Catch 22.

ya honors classes are a bit outta line...most kids don't do the work considering the advent of sparknotes.
